Reduce bending with this sustainably sourced, tanalised 3 tier timber base designed to fit our 8ft x 4ft cold frame. 8ft x 4ft raised bed – 3 tier (4ft x 4ft picture shown) Growing in raised beds as well as reducing bending tends to produce earlier crops as the soil is well drained and warms faster.

Using the Cold Frame on top of the raised bed will ensure that the soil warms up much more quickly than outside, allowing earlier planting. Once planted in the Garden Frame, the young plants will be sheltered from the cold, wind and rain.
